| In the process of compiling the letters and diaries of Dr. Charles Brackett during the Civil War, I have entered basic genealogical data into the Reunion 5 software. The data is subject to constant revision, of course, as I hear from more descendants. The letters and diaries were published in March 1999 as "Surgeon on Horseback" by Guild Press of Indiana. Guild Press was acquired subsequently by another publisher, and the book is no longer in print. However, I have a supply for sale, as shown at the top of the main page. |
